JOB—2601 · PYTHON / AUTOMATION
Commission processing, automated
The situation. A food-service distributor was burning days every cycle reconciling commission spreadsheets by hand — thousands of records matched manually, with all the error risk that implies.
What Peerless built. A two-phase Python pipeline with a simple GUI launcher. Phase one ingests the raw reports and matches records; a human review step sits between phases so judgment stays with people; phase two generates the finished statements automatically.
The result. Processing that took days now takes minutes, with the same accuracy and a review step instead of a marathon. The staff hours came back every single cycle.

A six-module legacy suite, rebuilt live
The situation. A manufacturer's entire office ran on interlocking VB6 and C++ programs — sample sheets, costing, manufacturing orders, invoicing, payment vouchers, and sales commissions — software older than some employees and one retirement away from crisis.
What Peerless built. First, a full analysis of the legacy code to map every cross-module dependency. Then a unified PostgreSQL schema covering all six modules — replacing six separate copies of the truth — and a module-by-module rebuild as a modern web application, run in parallel with the old system so nothing ships until it's proven on real work.
The result. Modernization is underway with zero production downtime: all six modules scoped onto one unified database, and the business keeps running on every day of the transition.

A secure client document portal
The situation. Sensitive client documents were moving as email attachments — which is where sensitive files go to leak, with no scanning, no access control, and no audit trail.
What Peerless built. An encrypted drag-and-drop portal with virus scanning on every upload, token-based access, hardened storage, and full audit logging — so both sides always know what was exchanged, when, and by whom.
The result. Every upload scanned, every access logged, and email attachments retired for sensitive exchanges.
